Training Restarts

After coming down with some sort of bug or winter illness my health has now improved and training has restarted. I have completed a couple of pushes and a couple of sessions on the rowing machine. The training in the racing chair started with 20km push which had four forced stoppages with the rubber cover on my left pushrim coming off. The next day I completed 22km in chair. This session was disrupted by a flat tyre at the turn around. With my history of flat tyres I have been prepared while training carrying tyre aerosol repair kit. This spray can inflated my tyre and repaired the puncture.

The first rowing machine session up at Lake Clearwater was memorable with a lightening storm in progress as I rowed. Plenty of rumbling thunder in the hills and quite close flashes of lightening.
