More Windy Days & Rain at the Lakes

The last seven days have not had very favourable weather for pushrim training. Most of time there was strong NW winds, but I did get out for three pushes. The longest training I completed was 2 hours 20 minutes. It was tough a session with head winds all the way out, the nor-wester also got the temperature up to 27 degrees. I had been drinking water before heading out but I didn't take any water with me. Coming back down wind should have been easy but dehydration hit me and I had to slow up to make sure I made it home. This was definitely the toughest training session I have completed. I ended up having the next day off and now we are back at Lake Clearwater and I completed a modest 10km on the rowing machine yesterday. This row was done while an electrical storm hit and it poured with rain, not ideal conditions for pushrim training. The extra rain has though benefited Lake Camp which has risen close to its normal depth. A post that was nowhere near the water in February is now surrounded by water.
