Squeezed Out of Walker Street

After a few false starts by our builder we are now being squeezed out of the house as they get stuck in tomorrow with the other chimneys to be removed and work on the extensions. Our extension are quite modest an extra 1.5 metres being added to the kitchen dinning room and a similar amount being added to the new master bedroom. We have up until now been able to stay in Ashburton and I have continued my training as usual.

Ready to go in the new helmet
Since my last post I have completed another record distance in the racing chair, just under 36 km and almost 2 hrs 40 min. I have also completed a number of other sessions, both in the racing chair and on the rowing machine. Since my last post I have completed another 210 km.

My old helmet was starting to get rather tatty so I purchased a new helmet which this time included a visor. I used it for the first time yesterday and it went pretty well, although by the end of the push there where quite a few streaks of sweat on the inside of the visor.
