Builders Start work at 95 Walker St - Training Continues

Old kitchen guttered
The house alterations have started with the builders arriving last week on a wet day. There wasn't a lot of building going on, just demolition of the old kitchen including the lath and plaster wall linings. The plaster component of these wall linings means there is a lot of dust floating around. To stop this going through the house they blocked up the door to the hall with a sheet of plywood and taped up our bedroom door. They are back again today doing some outdoor work required to build the extension of the old kitchen to make room for the ensuite and wardrobe. With an increase in the work they are doing we will have look at heading to the bach next week. This weekend we have people booked in to stay at the bach. Hopefully they don't cancel like the last two bookings!

Training does continue with weather not helping with training in the racing chair but I have made up for this with sessions on the rowing erg. With my last push completed a couple of days ago I increased my longest push to just under 33km and lasting 2 hours 23 minutes. That is a long time to be in a racing chair!
