Another Week & Still Clocking Up Km

Following the initial demolition work by the builders they started boxing up foundations for extensions to the new master bedroom and kitchen/dinning room. Once these are inspected the concrete will be poured and construction of the extension can begin. The builders have also attacked one of our chimneys and now we we only have 2 chimney stacks!

While this work on the house has been underway I have been busy training. Another push went further than any others, just over 34km. The list of training session since my last blog is below:

9 July - Rowing machine 1 hour 11 minutes, 14.4km
10 July - Racing wheelchair 2 hours 28 minutes, 34.3km*
11 July - Rowing machine 1 hour 2 minutes, 12.5km
12 July - Rowing machine 40 minutes, 8.4km

14 July - Racing wheelchair 1 hour 31 minutes 19.9km
15 July - Rowing machine 1 hour 25 minutes 14.6km
record time & distance

Training will take a break when Yvonne and I drive up Wellington on Friday 18th July and I get back Saturday evening.
