Mixing It Up

With my training going along steadily things are going to change as we look to move up to Lake Clearwater. With our shipping container filling up with household items and the humans out of the house this will allow some demolition work to get underway. We are removing the old laundry that is a lean-to on the side of the house. Some internal things like wardrobes need to go along with some internal walls. Once we remove the chimneys above the roof line these can also be demolished internally and then we can start progressing house modifications.

Moving up at Lake Clearwater will require me to drive to sealed roads for training which should include a few more hills. Along with these changes I am going to incorporate swimming as a recovery session. Along with swimming I am planning to spend a bit of time using the spa pool and steam room.

Over the last few days I been out in the racing chair with settled weather. Two pushes 20.4km and 17.6km. The longer distance was at about 80% effort with shorter distance at a more relaxed pace. Off days I have continued doing mileage on the rowing machine. I note from my training log on the Givealittle page that I have now completed 70 hours of training and travelled over 600km.
