Give A Little Page & The Gravel Trap

With confirmation of my place in the marathon the time has come to start fundraising. My plan is to approach local contractors and ask for assistance and in return I would speak to their workers about my accident and its consequences to give a different perspective to health and safety. Along with this I have launched a Give a Little page so that anybody can contribute to my quest to reach the start line of the NYC marathon. To navigate to my Give A Little page just click on the Give A Little logo or scan the QR code.

Along with maintaining my presence on the internet I have also continued the training. I spent more time on the rowing erg yesterday and completed a 15km training push today. The arms were pretty sore after the record long push on Sunday but I did manage to maintain a reasonable pace. The only glitch with this push was at the turn around when I went into some gravel that almost stopped me and then I couldn't get going a again with the lack of traction and my front wheel keep lifting. It is very easy to tip my chair backwards, if this did occurred on the road during a training session then I would need rescuing. I eventually got out of the gravel trap and headed home. I think I know how Liam Lawson feels right now.
