New Dishwasher, Lights and Action!
The new kitchen got knocked into shape even more with the electrical work being completed to get a new dishwasher working along with a power point on the island bench and lights above the area that had been tiled. The dishwasher looks good with a dark metallic exterior that matches the rest of the kitchen, just have to learn how to use it now.
While the electricians were working I headed out for another training push at about 11am with clear blue skies and not much wind. Feeling reasonably fresh I decided to push the distance out to 18.5km. The push went reasonably well with not too much traffic. I even got a yell of encouragement from a wee school child as I went past the Allenton Primary School. An incident of note from my previous push that I did not mention was a car that undertook me as I turned at a T-intersection. Kind of crazy and I think I saw the same car on today's push.
When I returned I was pretty knackered and thirsty so Yvonne was kind enough to get me some cool water before I got out of my chair. At this point I was in the middle of the driveway with a slope that was taking me back towards the road. I asked Yvonne to come around behind me and stop the chair as I had a drink. Unfortunately Yvonne only stopped me briefly and then wondered away while I sat up to have a drink and next thing I know the chair tipped up and I was on the ground! Now back at Lake Clearwater so on the handcycle to keep the fitness up.
