First Flat - Not on the Road

Prior to hitting the road I checked the chair following some issues with rubbing noises and I also dumped the big flashing arrow to be replaced by a bike tail light. Eve then volunteered to pump up the tires and we found one of the tyre values damaged. We tried pumping it anyway but it blew out. Fortunately it was one of the large back wheels which are the same standard size as a racing bike wheel. I headed down to the local bike shop and they sorted it straight away and I was on the road within 30 minutes.

The 13km push went OK, I went solo and I didn't have any dramas with the other road users pretty friendly. One potential local problem did become apparent, crop residue burning which happens late summer. Not much fun sucking in smoke and soot from a stubble burn. I probably need to start training in the mornings only for awhile.
