Latest training session 27 November

Update on my racing wheelchair training. My last training session in the chair was Wednesday 27 November, pushing another 10 km. This was a solo session with Yvonne discovering her bike had a puncture. The photo below doesn't show it but I trialed my helmet mounted rear vision mirror to help me keep an eye on the other road users. Unfortunately the mirror was difficult to use with my old eyes having problems to focus. The crouched position I assume when pushing also makes it challenging. Training since then has been curtailed with other stuff happening including an excursion in the Canterbury high country with son Tom and the mountain man Don Geddes. A great weekend including the shooting of a deer now destined for my freezer.
